AS3 has been a lifeline to me. And I don't say that lightly. While I
might have been able to stay smober for over a year without this NG, I
don't know that to be a fact. Just making myself accountable to the
group has had a powerful positive impact on my quit.

It's been a mixed blessing though. Let's face it. A lot of crud comes
out in postings here. When other people become irritating to me, that
distracts from my purpose of participating in this group. That purpose
is to STAY SMOBER no matter what comes my way. I don't want to lose
this group as an aid because the positive stuff in here keeps me going
at times.

When Burner Fan became intolerable to me, I kill-filed him and found it
far more pleasant after doing so. Taking that lead and the advice I
received from someone in another thread, I'm going to start kill-filing
folks that I find to be complicating my quit.

Of course kill filing doesn't eliminate someone's response that is
contained in a reply by someone who is not kill-filed. Guess I'll have
to learn how to ignore and quickly delete those messages.

I only have 1.5 weeks left in my Chantix Starter Pack. Everything
going well so far. Quit on time. Stayed quit. And mentally
prepared. However, I don't want to be on Chantix any longer than I
have to as I never liked taking meds.

Has anyone any experience with stopping Chantix after the 1-month
Starter Pack? Do most folks continue Chantix beyond the starter?

I know this is a personal decision of mine, but I am looking for
analogous data points from experienced Chantix-sponsored quitters to
supplement that decision.

It is absolutely disgusting and I have reported the whole pack of 'em to
the League of Common Decency. I am confident they will all be punished
