I feel a bit drained after being abused by watching the movie "American
Psycho."
I had avoided this movie for 8 years, but it stars Christian Bale, and
curiosity got the better of me.

I played 10 minutes of the writer/director's commentary, after seeing the
movie. The woman that made the film saw it as a combination comedy and
horror picture. Her objective was to make fun of finer dining in the
1980s, and men from that era who are represented as being interchangeable.

There needs to be a word like misogynist that applies to women who hate men.

The film was an amazing waste of studio money and acting talent.

I suppose I should be grateful that the movie doesn't even end as an
effective insult to psychotics.

It was the easiest thing to quit any antipsychotic drug (dopamine
blocker) cold turkey.
But, it took a long time for them to wear off. They are made to be
"lipophilic", stick to the fats, and thereby take a long time to get out
of your system.
Any drug could be made to be "lipohpilic" and therefore last a
long time. How would you like a pain killer that keeps working as long
as a dopamine blocker works?
It can be done easily, but, tyranny dictates that this only be
done with the most miserable drugs of them all, dopamine blockers.
