I never heard of not sitting until the toilet discussions here on asm.

Yes, that's how I clean my toilet seat, and what's on my brush (not a
sponge) is a disinfectant. You mean I've been doing it wrong all these
years?

It is said that the bottom of a woman's purse has far more germs than
does the seat of a public toilet, anyway.
