Yes, I do think we are both right - and it all depends, I think, on
what you were taught about coveting - and when. Interestingly, the
issue about graven images was never hammered on, in my home - everyone
thought it met ONLY golden calves and such like, even though reams of
Christian theology and early dogma shows clearly that it is virthally
the same commandment as the one Allah gave to Mohammed for the Muslims
to follow.

Actually, I was taught that ALL three apply. For example, I was told
I was sinful after Christmas when I was 6 - for being upset that my
best friend received an evening gown Barbie (two of them, actually -
one with a pink gown and one with a black sequined gown) and I got a
Barbie that was wearing peddle pushers and a beehive.
