Heyo. The wife and I met about 3 years ago. We lived together almost
since we met. We got married last year and are encroaching on our
first anniversary. Everything is wonderful. However, our sex life is
in the gutter. To give you some background, our tastes on sex have
always been on different ends of the spectrum. She is into kink, I'm
not. She likes to be dominated and I don't have the personality for it
and if we try (and we do), it's apparent that it's forced. Sufficed to
say, ever since we met and up until marriage, our sex life was
mediocre, but still enjoyable.
However, after we got married her libido dropped off the map. There is
no way to kick start it. I must say though, when we do get into the
grove, we do enjoy it. The motivation is lacking. We had many heart-to-
heart talks about this and my stance on it has not changed since we
met. She says that she just does not have the drive for it. She tells
me that she does not masturbate or get the urge to have sex in the
middle of the day. As she put it, "she has flatlined."

Okay, maybe I am delusionally pessimistic. Please explain to me any
rational process by which laws were passed that required people with
dark skin to sit at the back of the bus.
I believe that such laws were the result of irrational prejudice and
hatred. Further, I observe from the historical record that such laws
were invalidated by courts, not by any legislative process. Had it been
left to the legislatures, Mississippi might still make dark-skinned
people sit at the back of the bus.

My suggestion is income of the families and quality of the education are
both effects of a common cause. I think that cause is "involvement" or
"empowerment" however that might be measured. Involvement...
