To go on wiht the bath and skin softening plan etc to get ready for the
beach, the ophone rang.
Kiddo that offered time for help with files for photos I could not handle
too well..
Took a long tiem to find out what I was tryign to do how and why, and for
us both to realize that in fact, somehtign I was trying to do like on the
old pc in fact ended up a bigger mess and was what created double of my
photos, where if I corrected an album on my desk top, say, it would not be
modified in my Cdrive...
Once we got that we got to find which other program I ahd on the previous
oen that I missed on this one for openign and selecting pics. Found it and
got it on. Etc, etc.
After that I discorvered that a program I alrweady had malfunctioned on
the rpevious pc (bugged) because the zoom did work on it this time!
Thought I was too much of a twitheade to get anything to work...But ^phew.
All that time was probs with programs on the old pc!:)
If soem will be sent by mail, others I was sent the link to and downlaoded
(free windows stuff that kiddo did not need sicne he used mac on this pc
in the end before he got his new one).

A thing that too rarely is mentioned is how thanks to Sartre, thousands
and thousands of people suicided, following the publication of his books.
Huge waves of 'massive' suicides.
It goes on to this day, his books being read in colleges and highschools
in years where teens have identity crisis.

I sent a message to the PVV, a new unfounded right wing extreme party as
it was called in the news today. they are intimidating too.
I said a lot of things, it would be perfect to translate it all. But I
will only translate my part. When you read it, you will guess what right
wing like this is all about. Nah, I will translate both, my replies
start with a '-':
Holland is a wonderful country.
- Other countries are wonderful too, I've been there. :)
But it's under pressure, for lots of reasons, the politic elite in NL
neglects systematically the interests and problems of the civilian.
- There are interests that are greater than the individual. Such as a
Harmonic society, where everyone of each origin can deploy themselves,
be them muslim or wahtever.
It's still unsafe on the streets because we have insufficient police and
too low punishments.
- I feel pretty safe on the streets, but ofcourse I am not a politician
who feels threathened.
The number of strangers who come to our country is still excessively
high.

hi
this was my christmas eve: I drank 9 pints of Heineken and then 3
glasses of red wine.
so, bad hangover at Christmas day....had invited my brother to have a 3
course meal with wines and all. really worked out well...thanks to
spiritual beings maybe...law of karma....who can tell.
wasn't that fun...I wish I was with my Texan red haired girl friend, but
I live in Holland, so cannot fly so easily there. Fuck
internet...sometimes...why do I have to meet you...my dear?
oh I didn't want to use any caps..as a style. I'm so fucked up...both my
parents are dead...I feel like batman, without an enemy.
and lost in this world, making the best of it...finally knowing the
first name of my favourite casheer woman...who's about my age.
knowing she's called Linda makes her a person to me...then when I
finally have the nerves might ask her out for coffee...whereas that
doesn't seem to be enough in my world...so why bother?
it's cruel, desire for comfort...desire is cruel...frustrates a man...am
taken out of reality....when will I be able to breath again? feel true
nature again...out in the open?

Kiddo came to pick me up as soon as he could: given the weather alerts
that alked about freezing rain over Ottawa, the temp gettign ilder as the
day woudl go on but freezing again in the evening, and in Montreal, snow
only, never goign below the freezing point, we figured bestw as to leave
Ottawa asap, before it froze agan, to get to Montreal on a clear highway.
But kiddo was slowed down by a traffic jam on the highway, due to an
accident, ad we then left at the time we had previopusly planned when
there was no weather alert known yet, due to the delay. In short, we left
about one hour later for Montreal.
But lordie lord...
It was a very stressful drive. Me so tired of traffic and hellish
conditions having taken thatd ay off, yet again in dangerous conditions on
a hiughway, with cars here and there in the ditches, others futher in the
patch between the two directions of the highway, and some even rolled over
on their top. Twice the traffic was completely halted due to some accident
ahead we did t even see: only towings left and police cars...
Black ice all the way to Montreal, with rain, ice rain and sluch falling
all the way, and uch a low rain cloud that we drove in the cloud, with lil
visibility...

Hope to reply -- when I have more than 3 minutes access to a computer
-- to this more. To find leisurely-chosen words. (I am not able like
some people I know to write quickly and always have the right thing to
say. :)
I do think -- and said a prayer -- about the stress amount of
yours :(
Yesterday was severe slickness here. Not able very well to stand up
on a sidewalk, so much ice with water atop. Today OK. Doing some
last-minute errands. . . Sometimes grumpy ones where I went. Just in
the last 2 days I'm seeing frowning side of humankind, with this
holiday. Because of certain misfortunes (manageable). But during a
week previous I was enjoying this season better than almost never
before. As I said, I do not know exacly why -- one factor IMHO is I
found this NG last July aor Auguest and have a little bit of a home
because .
I am not relaxed at the moment. So as I said, I want to reply to your
words and will when /perhaps/ I am at the library on an hour time-
allotment. In a couple days.
