yeah, I guess I was thinking of some of the parks I've seen that have seed
dispensers
speaking as a biologist... *small* quantities of bread is probably ok. the
reason they say not to feed bread is that if everyone feeds a small quantity
then it ends up being a lot. the arguement that ducks (or any other animal)
will become dependant drives me a bit nuts. it's highly complicated and you
just can't make blanket statements like that with any accuracy. the urban
ducks you find around parks are generally already unnatural and already
dependant.
