today sir lala knocked on our door in the morning, probably not being
able to wait any longer for us to wake up on our own. when we came
down the hallway and passed his bedroom, he popped out of a box he was
hiding in, yelled, "happy mother's day," and gave us a bouquet of paper
flowers he had made at school.
later, he and c made us pancakes for lunch.
then we went to the zoo and saw lots of animals and walked a lot and
finally stopped to get shave ice. and, of course, he didn't want to
leave so he got grumpy, but that's part of being 6.
so it was a nice day. :)

I talked to my T about being "a little bit hungry". It's not like it used to
be when most of us were trying to lose weight or punish ourself for various
reasons. yes, sometimes parts do want that, but most don't. Or they realize
it doesn't get us any where.
So what's going on? There was a point last summer where we could just eat.
We didn't think about it. We didn't regulate and worry, we just ate. To be
honest though, I don't think we stayed at that point very long. It felt
better if we used a bit of "control". Like if we let ourself eat icecream
we'd suddenly be doing it all the time. That bit of control has turned into
needing to be hungry
T asked about eating but i think maybe he asked me the wrong question. he
should have asked me what hungry meant. hungry means control. hungry means
willpower which equals strength. hungry means I'm not them. hungry is
something I can feel and it's *mine*. hungry means quiet. So I guess I'm
supposed to try to meet those needs some other way? I'm not even sure I
understand what i wrote.
now no one will let me write
i need to eat diner.

Yesterday the SO took the kids swimming, inside climbing (what
I consider training, not climbing, but something one adult can
do with two kids safely) and then to see some movie. They left at
about 9am and came back at about 5:30. I got to watch almost two
complete dvds (stargate, of course:), did all the laundry,
washed the dishes, dusted and got some minor paperwork done.
Today we went to a brunch then went to the botanic gardens. We
walked and walked and looked and looked. The weather was perfect
for this! Then we came home and made picnic food to eat outside.
The first picnic of the season! We have tried a few times but
it would rain or get really cold at the last minute. Then we got
kidlette all packed for her upcoming first wilderness trip *really
proud huge grin* and the kids cleaned their rooms.
Oh, and the SO took the old tires off his car so I can take
the rims in tomorrow to get his new tires put on (his bday
present from me:).

Discovering The Truth
Sumaiya (Kristin), USA
My search for a religion began in high school when I was 15 or 16 yrs.
old. I had been associating with a bad group of people whom I thought
were my friends,
but in time I realized these people were losers...

Having a hard time getting on asd with evl lurking and spying. IS LONG
Little dog.
Then and ago, we came home from work, stopping only at the front door
to pick up the mail. Leaning to take off our shoes, we see little dog
out of the corner of our eye, seemingly asking for permission...

Everybody at one point experiences anxiety when faced with a stressful
or worrying situation. Anxiety is the feeling of fear, apprehension
and worry, accompanied by nausea, palpitations, chest pain, and
breathlessness. Sometimes this can interfere with your normal life.
Excessive anxiety can be linked with other psychiatric conditions,
such as depression.
Anxiety can be in many forms. It may be a fear of snakes, a fear of
heights or stage fright, or it could also be nonstop worry about your
parenting skills or constant fretting about success at work, etc.
Components:
Anxiety is said to have four components:

stupid, unfair angry.
mthr's birthday today. (75th, apparently.) sent card yest.
found e-mail from fthr this a.m., 'reminding' us. (typical of him.)
didn't realise at first, mthr has never got hang of sending from her
account instead of his. (hate that. *won't* put filter in to
recognise his account. can't make her see matters. is unsafe. can't
tell her is unsafe, is too unkind.)
*not* allowed. gave mthr e-mail address on understanding wouldn't get
e-mail from him. apparently they think because we put his name into
the annual stupid festivity card, so as not to be unkind, means
perfect fkn reconcilement. means can ignore everything we ever said
about keeping us safe. doesn't!!! never will!!
