I get a flu shot every year ever since I was diagnosed. I have never gotten
sick with a cold or flu in all that time..... since 2002.
Well I am really sick right now with some cold or flu. Feverish, sore
throat, cough, congestion, the whole bit. Be carefuly guys.... there are a
lot of nasty colds going around this year. One minute I am shivering and
the next I am sweating. It's no fun at all. :-(
Going to get some nice chicken broth out of my freezer and sip a bit of
that....... Thank goodness I made some and put it away.

Yep. I got the flu twice this season and just got over a cold. Things got
so bad here that they put out hand sanitizer at the dance studio. All the
teachers were getting sick and everyone was passing it back and forth. Hope
you feel better soon!

Evelyn, i caught a tummy bug that lasted for 4 weeks, and the DAY i was
finally over this tummy bug, i got the cold symptoms that you have
indicated above...... i'm on day 3 week 5 of this cold bug........
hubby's had it for a week longer than me, and he's just now starting to
feel better
day 3 of week 9 of being sick ! ! ! i'm SOME FED UP now

I had something similar around the first of March. Wound up in the dr's
office diagnosed with strep. All in all, it took about four weeks to work
it all through.

Canada: I took my husband to emergency at 2:00 a.m. yesterday because he
woke up trembling violently. He has had a persistent cough for weeks
that just kept getting worse. He was X-rayed and given intravenous ...
