Question about an aspect of M.J.

Howdy, y'all!

I have some questions about an aspect of smoking jarimuana, but have no
interest in starting a flame war. Please realize that i am simply
interested in opinions and experiences, not whether or not it should be
legalized. I tried it a couple of times around 1996. It only eased my pain
for about 20 minutes. chris and i decided the hassles and risks were not
worth those 20 minutes. (Even though it would be "mine" if it were found in
our house, he would lose his teaching certification over it.)

All of what i'm about to say is strictly opinion. The questions i ask
toward the end are simply curiosity as to others' experiences.

Over recent years, i've come across about nine friends/family members who
smoke pot. Some do so for medical reasons, though each who does smoked
before their illnesses or pain came into the picture. chris and i have
noticed a pattern of personality change after a certain amount, and were
wondering if others have noticed it, and what smokers think about what we've
noticed.

The first people who i knew (and watched) smoke pot were one of chris'
brothers and that bro's wife. During each visit with them, whether at our
place or theirs, we noticed a change in them from early...

Smoking pot makes people passive. The more they smoke, the more passive
they become.

I don't know anyone who only smokes pot and doesn't use alcohol or other
drugs who acts the way you described. However, opiates and alcohol (or
lack thereof) often do cause people to be edgy and ill tempered.

Despite what some may think, I am neither edgy or ill tempered. I have
been honest about my pot use and that has been used by some people to
paint me in a negative light as they typically do with just about
everything I say about myself, but the fact of the matter is that my pot
smoking has nothing to do with how I conduct myself here. I make my
posts here around noon most days and (except on rare occasions) I don't
smoke any pot till very late in the afternoon or early evening, because
I am very busy with my web sites and other business interests.

Hoping that someone accidentally stumbled across your pillz site and
earned you a couple of bucks affiliate income, you mean? "Business
interests"? Diversified into selling matchbooks now, Ken?
Still, thanks for the further admission about your illegal dope
smoking. I'll be sure it gets to the right people :o)

Actually I have noticed this about some of my husband's relatives, but
I thought it was the alcohol they were drinking at the family
gatherings. Anger, self-pity at things that happened decades ago. It
makes me wonder whether they are doing something else when they pop
out for this and that, walks, etc.
