Hi (((all))),
Okkkaayyy,
I've been awake...haven't slept due to pain, for 5 Friggin' Nights
Now!!! I mean, c'mon! I've had wonderful company & u know who
u r, but I've tried to do total body relax technique, all kinds of
stuff. Can't drink chamomile cuz damn dr put me on Topamax on top of
Tramadol & neither are working on neuropathy & I can't take Neurontin
nor Neurontin-related meds. I am afraid to go to the E.R. cuz they
might just take the $ & do nothing but boot me out w/no help. But I
think I have to go there...o god help me I' ll go pyscho on 'em if
they don't help w/this. Hell, I'm not asking for pain meds!!!
Kindly but not for long

Lori, sweetie:

Can you do the tryptophan thing? Hot cocoa, warm milk, turkey,
something of that nature? Take a warm bath, heat up the bed if you
live anywhere near where I do, put on some nice comfy jammies if you
wear them, and slip between the sheets...

Something that helps me sometimes when I really really can't sleep is
to start praying for everyone I know. In detail. It might take a
while, but I fall asleep thinking of others instead of my brain
stomping all over the place demanding I focus on my own issues and I
tend to rest better as well.

I do hope you get some rest. Mine comes in snitches and pieces
lately; a few hours here, a little bit there, but I'm getting it. I'd
love to just lay down and sleep for about 10 hours but it's been YEARS
since I've had that luxury.
