Hello everyone, I've created a new group focused on activity and how
it can benefit those with autoimmune diseases. Look for more
flexibility and exercise programs to become available as well as
advice on how to incorporate regular activity that conforms with your
individual needs. You can check it out at http://groups.google.com/group/conqueras?lnk=li

On an empty stomach immediate release liquid morphine hits me in about
20 minutes. It is more like 30-40 if I have eaten. Not sure about the
ER form as I always take it. If I miss a dose I usually take 2-5mg of
immediate release along with my missed dose, crawl into a ball and
pray for it to take effect.

  Denied prior auth for Provigil

Author: trisha

I was denied prior auth for provigil because it's not indicated for
use to keep people on pain meds awake by the FDA. Now I get to
appeal. Any brilliant ideas? I'll take any suggestions under
consideration.

Thanks in advance.

  A little better today

I forced myself out of bed as the pain eased up and family wanted
breakfast. Neck still hurts and I am being so careful about moving my
head and neck and not lifting anything. Still the twinge is just right
there.

Thanks to all who step in to offer suggestions or just commiserate
with me. It helps! I hope I can be there for you when you need it.

  Detoxing From Fioricett W/codeine

Author: rog350

I have been taking Fioricett W/Codiene for Chronic Daily Headaches for
years well if you call 12 a month for years. That dose wasn't really
helping much just for the really bad days I had 1. The my elderly
Primary Care Doc retired and the younger guy that took his place has
gradually brought me up to now 240 a month. Well he doubled my dose
last time I saw him in June of 07 from 120 to 240 a month without my
really asking. Well it did'nt take long for me to climb the ladder.
Anyway I have been taking anywhere from 6-8 a day since last June.
Although they have really helped with my CDH my mind and memory has
really gotten bad.
I am afraid if I tell my doc he will just cut my off and I will be back
in hell with pain. I know he would love to stop prescribing esp. since
I only have medicare...
