I gave up the specialists five years ago or so. I found a good GP who worked
with alternative and Western methods of dealing with pain. His successor is
not up on alternative methods but I keep on that myself through the medical
articles and associated websites.

The National Fibro group is way behind on new methods but some people trust
them. Go with your gut when it comes to medical care. If a doctor or their
staff is iffy on your wife's medical care, then walk away. I wish both of you
a good life without pain and happiness.

  Flector Patch Trade

Author: knackeredback

Hello, sorry if this post may be inconvenient but in the chance that
it may be relevant or appropriate and that it may be benificial to
someone here goes. I ot a prescription last week for 60 x Flector
patches. These are NSAID skin patches to reduce pain and swelling in
acute sprains and muscular pain. As I already have a script for
Oxycodone and Soma, which, already do a pretty good job in pain
management, I have wasted a lot of money on this prescription. The
patch seems to work as well as any low dose opiate medication
eg..codeine , tramadol etc. I tried one on a stiff neck I had when I
ot up one morning and the results were very good. I did not want to
use my regular painkillers and muscle relaxers on it since I have a
limited supply of them which I prefer to keep for my lower back pain.I
have 59 of these patches which I would like to trade for perhaps a
small amount of Soma or Klonopin. These medications help me to sleep
at night and it would save me from using up my valuable opiate
painkillers. To buy these patches at retail cost would be $150+ with
no insurance. I realize that this may not be the most appropriate way
of obtaining the medication I need, but if anyone is interested then
please email me.
Thanks, Vince ...
