LONDON, England (CNN) -- Humanitarian aid workers and United Nation
peacekeepers are sexually abusing small children in several war-
ravaged and food-poor countries, a leading European charity has said.

Children like this 15-year-old girl have suffered abuse at the hands
of some UN soldiers and aid workers.

1 of 2 Children as young as 6 have been forced to have sex with aid
workers and peacekeepers in return for food and money, Save the
Children UK said in a report released Tuesday.

After interviewing hundreds of children, the charity said it found
instances of rape, child prostitution, pornography, indecent sexual
assault and trafficking of children for sex.

"It is hard to imagine a more grotesque abuse of authority or flagrant
violation of children's rights," said Jasmine Whitbread, chief

MISERY knocks first at the door of the miserable. It stood in the
doorway in the guise of Bill Turner, a ratty man in a greasy shirt and
thongs. Turner's arrival invariably meant someone was going to get
hurt, yet the door was always opened to him. Misery loves company.

Turner exerted considerable influence within a world of broken-down
single mothers in Top End towns, who seemed prepared to ignore the
obvious: that he wasn't interested in sleeping in their beds, but in
the beds of their daughters.

Turner has left many victims. He took one of them, a remarkable young
woman, to hell. Despite being betrayed by those closest to her,
including her mother, she is now finding her way back. She knows it is
still too early to say for sure, but her head is in the right place.
She thinks she can make it.

So let's ban horses, for the children! And do tell me, why wasn't the
sprog wearing a helmet?

A 9-year-old Haltom City girl died Saturday after being dragged a mile
and a half by a horse near Benbrook Stables.

The horse carrying Juliette Brown was likely spooked by the sound of
her opening a soft drink can, Cathy Wickwire, a family friend, said
Sunday.

said the complainers were the problem.)

Police Say Texas Couple Kept Baby In Freezer
Couple Says Body Had Been In Freezer For One Year

HOUSTON -- Police in Texas said a man and woman kept the body of their
baby boy in a freezer for more than a year, KPRC-TV in Houston
reported.

Detectives said 28-year-old Dezmond Blake and his girlfriend, 25-year-
old Crystal Sosa, had been living at InTown Suites motel in southwest
Houston for more than a year. Blake called police at about 6 a.m.
Friday, saying they had found a baby in the freezer.

The couple later told police that the baby was theirs and that the
body had been in the freezer for a year.

Police said Blake and Sosa seemed remorseful.

Police are now trying to piece together how the baby, Devin, died.

The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office said it will wait until
the body returns to room temperature before performing an autopsy.

Child Protective Services officials said the couple also has another
child, a 2-year-old, who lives with relatives.

Teacher lets Morningside students vote out classmate, 5

— Melissa Barton said she is considering legal action after her son's
kindergarten teacher led his classmates to vote him out of class.

After each classmate was allowed to say what they didn't like about
Barton's 5-year-old son, Alex, his Morningside Elementary teacher
Wendy Portillo said they were going to take a vote, Barton said.

By a 14 to 2 margin, the students voted Alex — who is in the process
of being diagnosed with autism — out of the class.

Melissa Barton filed a complaint with Morningside's school resource
officer, who investigated the matter, Port St. Lucie Department
spokeswoman Michelle Steele said. But the state attorney's office
concluded the matter did not meet the criteria for emotional child
abuse, so no criminal charges will be filed, Steele said.

Port St. Lucie Police no longer are investigating, but police
officials are documenting the complaint, she said.

Steele said the teacher confirmed the incident took place.

When they say the Pope is a virgin, it's rather a metaphor. He is
actually better defined as the male equivalent of an ugly Mother
Superior who's been passed up by the opposite sex in any sort of sense
of long-term relationship. It's like how sexually attractive nuns
generally get pulled out of the convent by the lures of the world
(sexual drive, desire to have kids, etc) -- it doesn't mean the Mother
Superiors, on the other hand, have literally never had sex, but simply
that their instances were emotionally painful and short-term because
they are FRAIL/SICKLY in appearance! As such, they've had
trouble getting laid. In that capacity, they _need_ the Catholic Church
primarily for financial support (having no children to help them out in
old age, etc.), and only secondarily for the love of God...
