Hi Gang,
If you could, please pray for my parents, most especially my mom right
now.
Mom spent most of the day yesterday in the ER and was diagnosed with
pneumonia which really flares up her emphysema too. They really wanted
to admit her because she was having such a time of it breathing, but she
refused to be admitted because she didn't want to leave my dad alone (he
has alzheimers). So, she is at home, but having a rough go of it and
worrying way to much that she won't be well by next weekend when our
whole family will travel up to where they are for my nephews graduation
from high school.
My brother that lives up there near them is so busy right now getting
ready for the graduation and the party and arrival of families from both
sides, that he doesn't have a whole lot of time to spend with my parents
like he normally would. The rest of us are 300 miles away.
So, would appreciate your prayers that my mom can just lay low a bit and
take care of herself so that she can get to feeling better, and that my
dad will just behave for now!
Thanks so much, I truly appreciate it!!!

Our daughter, whom some of you know, lost one of her two beloved cats today.
Sebastian had been sick for a long time but lately had been perking up. It
turned out that it was just the burst before leaving. It gave him a chance
to say goodbye to his humans. Please keep Linda and Mike in your prayers
tonight and for the next few days. The two cats are literally their children
since they are not going to reproduce themselves. She is, of course, pretty
shattered.
Thanks
DeeTee

Hello.. I am wondering if anyone knows about Newcomb College Pottery? I know
that the original thrower was Joseph Meyers and that it was a New Ortleans
college at the turn of the 1900's. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone on SSDI gotten their payments? According to the schedule, I
was supposed to get mine by 5/16 (I filled out the form and put my bank
info so they could direct deposit), and I got nada, bupkas, nothing. I
was hoping to get it on time so I could get this dumb wisdom tooth removed.

There are many different triggers and causes of asthma. And just as
there are many triggers and causes, there are also many different
remedies. Some of these asthma home remedies involve consuming
different combinations of food ingredients. Two of the most beneficial
ingredients are honey and ginger.
Let's take a look at some concoctions with honey and with ginger.
Honey as a Remedy
Honey is very good for asthma. Honey helps to thin the mucus in the
body and helps get the mucus out of the respiratory system. As you
probably already know, mucus accumulates in the breathing passages and
blocks air flow in and out of the body. This can trigger or make an
asthma attack worse.
You can either take the honey by mouth or you can just breathe in the
honey if an attack is beginning.
Here are some mixtures...

So what "Voodoo Medicines" are others taking and why?
I take 1 oz of Pomegranate juice a day because of the study that
showed it kept PSA down after radiation and 1 - 1000mg Flax Seed
Oil Capsule... I forget why.
I also take three cranberry capsules to ward off urinary tract
infections, nexium for reflux, two aspirins for arthritis, and
flomax for urinary frequency and retention.
I eat unhealthily since I figure I'd rather die of that :-)
