Wow. I got a surprize last night

While watching a TOS episode, I discovered that the actress who played Dr
Pulaski in TNG also played Dr Mulhall in some TOS episodes...
Okay, I know you're thinking "so what?"..
But I didn't realise she was one of the small number of thespians to bridge
the gap between the two era's, so it came as a fun surprise to me.

I know there've been some "go to" people that have been cast in the TNG era
(Jeffrey Combs, Mark Alaimo, J.G. Hertler and Diana Muldaur) that have had
steady employment throughout the Trekverse. Some have even been rewarded
with being cast as regular cast members (Armin Shimerman).

When they fired Pulaski, Roddenberry pointed out that it was obvious he
thought she was a great actress having used her in roles so many times.

And Combs has played just about every minor alien species there is ...
and he does so badly since they all seem to be the same! Same voice,
smae mannerisms, ... :-\

Even actor playing Nog had another small part in an episode of Voyager.

I also believe he was the principal in Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

As Shimerman himself has pointed out, he was the first to play a Ferengi on
Trek ("The Last Outpost").
