Why Voyager?

I mean of all the stinkin' ships in all the stinkin' systems, why Voyager?

Welp, Borg. Yes, Borg. They had time-tech, and if they didn't
(Krenim-assimilation) when they picked up Seven, they sure did after her
nano-probes got on board a Temporal Integrity Commission ship.

There's a historical element to all the Star Trek series.

TOS: First time travel, using 'primitive' technology. TIC's biggest
headache?
TNG: The first encounter and the Federation's successful defense against the
Borg
DS9: The background to Voyager, when time-tech got picked up.
VOY: What were we talkin' about?
ENT: The beginning of the Federation.
NEXT: Temporal Integrity Commission?

Seven wasn't part of the collective at that time.
