I agree with this and fully support this endeavor.

If I recall correctly, Chekov ended up being promoted ABOVE Kirk.

I dearly hope this is canon because that would be so funny.

Not sure... it would be cool if it was, yeah. I do know that Koenig was
pretty hardcore on Babylon Five.

In "Federation" Riker talks about reading Admiral Chekov's books.

"The Return" states that Chekov became Starfleet's C-in-C.

And Chekov appears as an elderly Admiral in the "Vulcan's Soul"
trilogy.

No, it's not canon at all. I thought maybe that's what Lots42 was
reffering to. Chekov definitely never outranks Kirk in canon.

and I didn't guess it! Was it Donald Trump's star??

Do you only know Walter Koenig as Pavel Chekov and Alfred Bester? He
created over fifty other television roles and, for your pleasure,
we’ve put up clips of 16 of them on YouTube!

Did you ever wonder if Walter could do a REAL Russian accent, not the
corny Star Trek one? Check out his first Russian role, the one that
earned him his Chekov audition:

See his stint as a student activist before activism became routine on
our campuses. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yHsVLk1E4sI

Check out his role as Lee Marvin’s young teenage son:

Yes, Walter was even on Gidget. The Gidget with Sally Field, where he
played a stick in the mud Swedish businessman.
