Well, playing either Carol Marcus or Christine Chapel (or outside
chance of Leila Kalomi) sure would explain why Morrison went blonde
for the new season of "House".
Anyway, I love this bit of casting, the first casting that has really
excited me about this movie (Simon Pegg? Are you freakin' kidding me?)
Morrison is excellent on "House", especially the first season. She had
bit parts in "Stir of Echoes" and "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and has had
very little to do on "House" this season, which is "Star Trek's" gain.

Its been going around for a while now that there is at least one big
space battle in this movie. Regardless, I wouldn't mind a nice balance
between the two. God Help Us if the soap opera elements turn out as
fingernails-on-the-blackboard cringeworthy as those in the latest
three Star Wars movies. Hopefully, the acting will be better, too (of
'Attack of the Clones': "I haven't seen so many wooden characters
since the 'Lonely Goatherd' scene in 'The Sound of Music'.")
