Another thing TNG was missing: Sisko was willing to fudge a little every so
often. Granted, he may have had to sleep a little less easily, but he saw
the picture as a little bigger than him. Most obvious example is how he got
the Romulans into the Dominion War. People died. Morals were compremised,
but he felt that getting the Romulans into the action could make a
difference in the war's outcome.
