After indulging myself in the Bliss that is called TNG, I decided to
check out its sequel Voyager. I was expecting Sci-fi, I got a space-
opera, I thought I could force myself to like or at least tolerate
this tripe.I admit I was foolish enough to fall for the name, now I am
sure Roddenberry is spinning faster than a neutron star in his grave.
We only have look at the cast to see why:
Captain Kathy Janeway. The trangendered leader of the crew, it was
needed to employ a female, if you could call it that, to make the
numerous foolish decisions required to get the show to last more than
one season. Picard would have had the crew home for dinner, instead
Janeway, as the token strong female leader present in all shows
nowadays, tries again to break down stereotypes but only spawns more
misogyny through her ineptitude. TNG had Wesley, Voyager has Janeway,
nothings ever perfect, but this is shit.

Picard would have surrendered the crew by dinner.

I can see your point... to a point. When Voyager first ran on prime time I
could not bring myself to watch it. I thought it was trying to be too
politically correct. I began to watch it after the series ended, while it
was in reruns. I grew to love this show because of it's fine character
interaction and acting. It's a great show. I believe it was the best Star
Trek series ever made.

For starters DS9 was TNG's sequal, get your facts straight before posting
rubbish.
