I would like to know who you would like to have as the main crew on the
Enterprise for the film. Just leave a gap if you think someone you don't
know (possibly a newcomer) should have the part. After all, it may be
expensive to have a completely all-star cast.
Kirk:
Spock:
McCoy:
Scotty:
Uhura:
Sulu:
These are the main six, but you can add you own if you wish. Here's my
current choices, obviously if I think of anyone better then of course I can
change it.
Kirk: Matt Damon
Spock: Jack Davenport
McCoy: (blank)
Scotty: Gerard Butler
Uhura: Naomie Harris
Sulu: (blank)

composed entirely of reality TV stars:
Kirk: Bob Guiney (The Bachelor)

Hmmm, let's see:
1. You could do WORSE than Matt Damon. Od course, this all hinges on when
the movie takes place. If this is an Academy move, Damon might be too old.
Abrams might want to take a hint from other "reboot" movies and hire either
an unknown or lesser known actor.
Spock: Adrien Brody would be GREAT. Vulcan makeup would suit him well. Plus
it give the movie some cred to have a best actor winner onboard.
Uhura: Gabrielle Union would be PERFECT. I'D audition for Kirk if I got to
do "the kiss" with her.
McCoy: Matt McConaughey MIGHT do well. Has the right mannerisms to play
McCoy. Plus, like DeForrest Kelly, he's a southerner
Scotty: This might sound a little weird but...how about Dave Tennant from
Doctor Who? He IS Scottish. OK, a longshot, but would be an interesting
choice.
Also , I hear that Pike might be in the movie. Ray Liotta would be PERFECT.
Ray is about the age Pike would be when he hands over the Enterprise to Kirk
AND he's a dead ringer for Jeff Hunter.
