And sometimes Tiger Woods plays golf like he's not Tiger Woods.

Golf has to be one of the stupidest sports ever. The only reason it's
tolerable is the amount of rich asshole who drop dead of heart attacks
out on the fairways. You'd be surprised how many do. It's wonderful!

ROFL! Hey! That's not funny!
Oops, then why am I laughing?
LOL?
:)
My hubby took up golfing, and he is fairly good at it. All that running
around on the links gave him a nice tan, and SEXY LEGS!
NOTE: he never uses a golf car, nor a caddy.
Walking from hole to hole, shot to shot, is actually wonderful exercise.
If all golf players would _walk the course_, ~carrying their own clubs
the whole way~ (like my husband does), it would make them healthier.
I have little pity for the lazy fat-asses that use the caddies and cars.
Hence, "LOL".
I honestly feel that people who can't carry their own clubs should get
off of the golf-course. Take up knitting, instead, maybe.

NOT that drunkenness in itself is bad: just that I don't believe that
drink mixes well with sport.
NOT that ~watching~ sports drunk is bad: just that _playing_ sports
drunk is probably UNWISE.
IMHO.
Now, back to TREK....
:)

FWIW, I never claimed that Kirk eschews pelvic-oriented pleasures.

BTW, OTOH, FWIW, if you meant to state or simply imply that Kirk and
Spock enjoy playing Chess with one another, then yes, that's true. That
was established in canon more than once.

To be specific, in the pilot (WNM) and in Charlie X.
Spock demonstrates intense interest in playing chess (with the ship's
computer) in Court Martial.
