How did an interesting topic go off the rails so fast with plonking and
posting lessons and such? :-)

Sims2: Jim Kirk abducted by aliens, nobody is surprised

I have had sims abducted by aliens before, and what usually happens is
everybody else on the lot freaks out and runs to the spot that he or she
was taken from. Their is wailing, weeping, gnashing of teeth, and
general obvious consternation among the remaining sims - even the pets.

Well, James T. Kirk got abducted last night, and NOBODY REACTED. At
least not like that.

Spock's reaction was to run to the spot, calmly acknowledge that Jim had
been taken, and he whipped out his handheld video game and started
playing... as if to say, "Ho hum, there he goes again". He seemed to
just know that Jim would be back.

Some hours later, the flying saucer returned to dump Kirk rudely onto
his own front lawn. He pratfalls onto his face, picks himself up, rubs
his ass as if it hurts, and starts to cry.

Spock started laughing hysterically, as Jim runs to the toilet to barf.
Poor Jim! Will no one have pity on him?

Now it seems that Kirk is pregnant. Oh Jim, that is just soooo like you.

Autonomously, or via cheat? All of my Alien Abductions have been
"forced."

The uniforms, etc. are available at the SIMS2 official download site.

They don't have to go to work. They can work at home: painting, writing
novels. If you have the business expansion pack there are many fun
home businesses they can have.

I bought the first version of The Sims and was initially enchanted. But
after a while these little people who had to be instructed to do the most
basic things, such as going to the toilet, began to irritate me. I found it
impossible to respect a person, however imaginary, who cannot even manage
their basic bodily functions without direct instruction from a Higher Power.
Even the worshippers at a New Life Church can manage to remember to find a
toilet when they need to defecate without direct instruction from Gay Ted.
These little people are retards, I found myself thinking.

Did it ever occur to you to turn Free Will on, then they do what they
need to do, not crap all over the place, fall asleep in the tub, starve
to death, and get abducted by self-righteous social workers?
Idiot.
