Seriously, folks,
a few episodes dealt with the morality of terrorism. The Maquis and
Cardassians engaged in it on occasion.
Also, in the movie ST VI: The Undiscovered Country, Col. West tells the
Federation President that he had been preparing "hot-pursuit" missions
because of the rising threat of terrorism from the Klingons. (Though I
got the feeling that the fear of terrorism from the Klingons had been
exaggerated by the hawks on the Federation Council, because the
Federation President would have already known about these plans otherwise.)
