It's not "just a TV show / moive". Hollyweird is butchering numerous TV
shows / movies in this current silly fad for "reboot"ing everything
from the past.
It's morally corrupt to go around changing established things simply to
make money. If Coke started selling orange juice in their bottles and
still tried to call it Coca-Cola, then there would be a public uproar,
and in fact there was when they tried to change the taste and had to
end up calling it "new Coke".
If I owned the Mona Lisa and decided to paint a mustache on it simply
because I believed I could sell it for more, then again there would be
a public outcry, and again there have been such things happen in the
past.
The problem is that Hollyweird *IS* morally corrupt and solely
interested in stuffing their own pockets : "Screw the fans, we'll do
what we want."
