Yet again, whether or not a "reboot" is any good in its own right is
completely irrelevant to anyone except the money-grubbers in
Hollyweird. Changing an established franchise into something
unrecognisable in style, characters, etc. means it's no longer actually
"Star Trek" (in this case) in anything but name. The fans actually like
Star Trek the way it is, they don't want it changed ... something
Beavis & Butthead simply couldn't understand.

If the fools in Hollyweird want to make a new 'space franchise', then
MAKE A NEW space franchise ... why bugger up the old one if it's
apparently no longer popular?? There is absolutely no common sense in
Hollyweird and apparently very little in the general public too since
they blindy go watch ANYthing that has "Star Trek" stamped on it and be
happy. :-(
