There's still a whole pile of these silly "remake" / "reboot" things in
the planning stages, but thankfully more and more of them seem to be
being dumped. I recall reading about a "remake" of something quite a
bit newer than Ghostbusters, but I can't remember what it was now.
Equally silly are live-action movies of animated TV shows - two
upcoming ones are The Smurfs (with CGI Smurfs) and Avatar: The Last
Airbender.
