Seriously, however, I felt ENT was finally getting an idea of what it
should be when it was cancelled and I, for one, regretted the loss.

As I've heard insiders describe it -- there is a constant battle
between the creative types and the execs when a show is on the air. It
is my humble opinion we were seeing the results of such conflict in
the first three seasons of Enterprise.

Well, I'll put it this way: if seasons 5-7 were a continuation of season 4
in terms of quality ( at least in general) then I totally defer to your
wisdom. The Soong Trilogy and "Through the Mirror Darkly" story are hands
down the best Trek since DS9 went off the air. If we get seasons 1-3, well,
as Bakula's other famous character, Sam Beckett, might say "If you take kaka
and dress it up like filet mignon, it's still kaka."

IMHO, ENT was just fine. I'm not one of the 'trek-no-crats' that
scrutinised each episode to analyse if it fits into canon perfectly, I just
like watching the show.

Dealing with the Andorians, The Xindi, and then Mars. I'm sure they
could have found so much more to put into this series. Based on the
cancellations of certain programs I like to watch, I'm starting to
think the American people are not interested in smart TV anymore.

into mindless Borgs, and the government is so happy about that.
