many many seconds after the BoP starts cloaking, and after Riker gets to say
"Fire" (wouldn't they be timing it precisely from sensor readings anyway?))
and enjoying what one has to say are some lovely sfx, I started wondering

I wouldn't call Jeremy Kemp small potatoes either.
It bothered me he wasn't there.
It bothered me even more they had killed off his character.

And yet they failed miserably, as 4 films later, we all find ourselves
looking forward to a new Trek movie featuring ToS crew - albeit with
different actors.
The writers failed to take into account the complete disdain that Starfleet
crews have for the temporal prime directive, and it has come back and bit
them on the arse, LOL.
