This would apply to anyone owning a copy of the original TOS masters, or a
portion thereof. I know there are some fans that do. I am looking for
several specific sound effects "E" (effects) from original DME masters.
Must have the ability to isolate the E track from the others (please, no
DVD, this has to come from the original 35 mm analog tape or copy).
Thanks,
Able Seven Baker

.... used in shows besides Star Trek. Can anyone help me with the
following?
One time, I swear I came across a "Macgyver" episode where Macgyver was
aboard an alien spacecraft and while communicating with the alien, the
Enterprise bridge sound could be heard in the background. Anyone know which
episode this was?
There is a Hawaii Five-O episode where McGarrett decends to a lower deck on
a docked military ship. In the background on this lower deck, the
Enterprise bridge sound can be heard. Episode name anyone?
One time I was watching a cartoon and suddenly it caught my attention when
the bridge sound was heard clearly and for quite some time. Sorry, can't be
any more specific here, but does anyone know of any specific cartoon show
examples?
Has the alien planet surface sound, like heard in the background of "The
Cage" and "The Man Trap" ever been used in any other tv shows? I recently
came across the Trek animated series from the early 70's, but it doesn't
appear to have this background in any of the episodes.
Thank you,
Able Seven Baker

They have
1. Bio-capable transporters
2. Shields (Ahem) well most Federation
shields are being drained severely
about every episode. lol
3. Warp 6 capable ships that can withstand being
sucked into a gas giant.
4. Do they have seatbelts on ships too? lol
So what else do they have that the Federation has not?
Like during our World Wars technologically we advanced
greatly.

The Hegemonic Factor - Part 1
Jean-Luc Picard turned the screen slightly on his desk and shook his
head. “Incredible,” he mumbled to himself. For several moments he
continued, lost in the report about the starship Voyager until the door
chimed. “Come,” he said.
Riker strolled into the room with a smile on his face. The smile was
something that Picard was becoming accustomed to seeing since his first
officer and counselor were spending more time together. “Have you read
the latest reports concerning the Voyager, sir?”
“Yes, Number One. In fact, I was just finishing up the reports. They
had an incredible voyage on that ship.”
“No pun intended sir?” Riker continued to smile.
“Hmm.” Picard looked confused, but only for a moment. “Oh, no. No pun
intended. They brought back Borg Technology and even have a Borg as a
crewmember on the ship. It is incredible.”

That would be "blasts" in the "you're a wonderful guy" and "the most
talented director around at the moment" sense of the word.

Except, you know, for the part where he doesn't. He quietly and
respectfully refutes Abrams out and out lies about how he's screwed up
the project.
