The Hegemonic Factor - Part 1

Jean-Luc Picard turned the screen slightly on his desk and shook his
head. “Incredible,” he mumbled to himself. For several moments he
continued, lost in the report about the starship Voyager until the door
chimed. “Come,” he said.

Riker strolled into the room with a smile on his face. The smile was
something that Picard was becoming accustomed to seeing since his first
officer and counselor were spending more time together. “Have you read
the latest reports concerning the Voyager, sir?”

“Yes, Number One. In fact, I was just finishing up the reports. They
had an incredible voyage on that ship.”

“No pun intended sir?” Riker continued to smile.

“Hmm.” Picard looked confused, but only for a moment. “Oh, no. No pun
intended. They brought back Borg Technology and even have a Borg as a
crewmember on the ship. It is incredible.”

  Post on newsgroups and others

I want to thank all of you for reading my stories at
http://startrekfiction.blogspot.com/

Please note that the newsgroup you are reading now is one of the few
still allowing me to post my notice of updates at the spot.

I was recently advised by the Moderator of all the groups related to the
name alt.startrek.creative.* that my post were not appropriate for those
groups. When I read their regulations, I found that I do not have the
time to ensure that my future post meets their extensive set of rules.
Since their e-mail was rather rude it the assumption that the form mail
was reaching me (I was informed by the moderator that "it seems that my
form letter is not exactly sinking in")I was contacted directly by the
moderator. I have assured him that I will not be posting to his groups
anymore. Unfortunately, that means that any links for my blog you might
have picked up there in the past will have to be obtained from a group
such as this one that does let me post.

I want to thank the newsgroup moderators who let me post links to my
stories. I understand those not wanting me to do this, but greatly
appreciate those of you letting me.

Thanks again and please watch for future post!
