I don't know if I have seen worse defensive zone coverage in the NHL in
years than what I saw from the Avs last night at the Can. Absolutely
brutal. When this team is bad, they don't check, defend, hustle, or
even really seem to give a rats ass. Calgary embarrassed them last
night. And they left Budaj out to dry. The only soft goal was Theo's
first.

F'in pathetic. This was one of those games where, as a fan at the
game, I honestly feel like I deserve a refund. I showed up. The team
didn't. And how far has Theo fallen? Budaj gives up 5 goals on about
17 shots, and Theo gets loudly booed when he comes into the game.

Heh, remember when Eric (and then, of course, Doogie - because he knows
nothing about hockey and can only leech his opinions from those who do)
was crowing on and on about how McGrath was as good as Wolski? He was
saying that McGrath was producing just as much, and there was no reason
to believe that Wolski was a better player. He predicted that McGrath
was going to make the NHL this season, and basically had McGrath chalked
in for an All Star-caliber career.
