Favre isn't Favre simply because of what he did on the field. If
someone were to look into him further, they would see a lot of
personal aspects to Favre that make him head and shoulders above the
rest. From the car accident in college, to his time in Atlanta, to his
early days in Green Bay, Favre has over come a lot of negativity that
would have driven lessen men out of the league. On top of that, you
have someone who has always stayed true to their roots and has always
been a family man. Then you have his charity work and his work with
special needs children, not to mention his degree in Special
Education. Favre isn't just a great QB or great football player, he is
a great human being. Favre is a rarity now-a-days and just may likely
be the last of his kind. The Mannings, Brady, Rivers, and a slew of
modern QB's just don't have the personality of Favre. To get a man
with Favre's ability and his personality is extremely rare. Favre was
a "man's man', and there simply aren't any likely him any more.
