Enough with the Brett Farve

Brett Farve was a great quarterback and deserves lots of accolades but
the sports media coverage has risen to ridiculous proportions. This
thing has taken on a life of its own and redefines the meaning of
OVERKILL. ESPN and FOX is giving his retirement round-the-clock
coverage oN both their TV and radio networks. They are treating this
story like a Presidential assassination. They are interviewing guys
who once met Farve when he was a high school quarterback; asking for
their favorite memories Brett. Enough already. I've had it.

I agree.....this is a man who won 1 Super Bowl....lost one to a QB old enough to
be his Dad at the time.....and is the all-time INT leader. What's next......a
week full of homage to Trent Dilfer?

Sports media is a joke!

The media these days goes way too much into depth on only a few news
stories, and they don't talk about anything else. So viewers are left being
almost as ignorant of the world around them as they were before they tuned
in.

He was an INT machine who managed to make dumb throws, more than not,
when it counted. i'm glad to see him retire.
