My mom is unwell and since I am an only child I am moving back to help
care for her.

This means that NZD is officially going back to the USA. And now the
question is how many hoops will my wife have to jump through in order
for us to both be legal and able to work in America. My guess is that
she'd be better off coming as an illegal and waiting for the amnesty
the idiot politicians are bound to give away again. But neither of us
is the sort that wants to break the immigration laws. I went through
my own hoops legally immigrating to NZ. So now she gets to do the same
with the USA's own bureaucracy. Here's hoping it isn't too freaking
involved (of course it WILL be).

And as a final note. Don't ship pets or property such long distances
if it is avoidable. They charge a mint for the services. On the plus
side tho, NZ is rabies free so my pets have zero quarrantine time.

Sorry to hear your Mom isn't doing well ... you're a good son and good luck
with finding a job and getting your wife to the US.
