(Jan. 19, 2007) -- The National Football League announced the names of
40 players who have been granted special eligibility for the 2007 NFL
Draft on April 28-29.
Each of the 40 players has met the league's three-year eligibility
rule and each has submitted a written application in which he
renounced his remaining college football eligibility. The deadline for
receiving applications was Jan. 15.
The players declared eligible are:

Anderson, Jamaal DE Arkansas
Applewhite, Antwan DE San Diego State
Beason, Jon LB Miami
