Do the Bears game plan well, practice well, adjust to the loss of Mike
brown well and pound the Niners into a thin paste OR do the Niners with
Jennings and Allen (suppossedly) healthy generate a running game and
surprise the Bears in some fashion (a la The Cards) by at least making
a close competitive game of it rather than a Bears walk-over as many
expect this to be.
Thoughts, comments, opinions?

bears by a couple TD's. I think that the 49ers can score points on
them, but the D is so bad in SF right now that the bears offense will
make them look like the colts.

Bears fan here.
This game won't be a cakewalk for the Bears. They should win, but they
were favored by an equally gaudy point spread versus Arizona. Gore may
be the best running back the Bears have faced this year. Smith is
much-improved. But the yards allowed by the 49ers so far makes this
smell like another 25+ point game for the Bears.

...I wonder if the practice squad that Alex faces in practice is better
than the actual 49ers defence. Cause he aint getting better playing
against the starting defence.

The Niners are like a 17 point underdog ... I'd take that be, I'm not too
sure if they are going to win. The Niners secondary could make Grossman
look like Joe Namath.

I think the Niners will cover the spread. Niners rush defense is decent
and Grossman ain't that great to chew up the Niner pass defenders.

Replacing Adams on the DL may be a big help, especially with Fields
starting and Harris returning to the secondary. I also take them to
cover the spread, but I'd like the win a whole lot better. Winning an
away game would go a long way towards improving the team.

If our defensive secondary had been sucking a little less of late, I'd say
it be a game. We have a way to go on that account but I am impressed with
the improvements on offense. So, prolly a Bears win. :-(
How ya doin', mate? Long time no talk to...
Go Niners!
