I've been trying to figure out how Holmgren and Ruskell are going to resolve
the numbers of players they now have on the DL.

Kearney, Atkins, Tapp, Jackson, Cooper, and Babin are all playing well at
DE. Tafisi is probably PS material.

Bernard, Terrill, Bryant, Mebane, Triplett, Tubbs, and Green all have a shot
at the DT position. Kevin Brown might have a shot at the PS as a DT.

13 guys for 9 maybe 10 positions depending on how many LB's and DB's they
carry. Usually they carry 7 LB's and 8 DB's leaving 10 defensive line
positions on a 25 man squad. I could see them going with only 6 LB's this
season and keeping 5 DE's and 6 DT's.

We could be cutting players from our defense this year who will play on
other teams.

Unfortunately I think it's time we say bubye to injurehead Tubbs... a great
specimen decimated by injuries.

I'm sure we will too if he's injured again but what if he can play in
rotation and stay healthy? I think with his level of talent, you make sure
before tossing him on the scrap heap.

Doesn't sound like Ruskell as we've come to know him, of course, this is a
defensive player we're talking about, so who knows.
