Couple of days back, my (former) ISP's news server appeared to be punting
me, so I called Tech Support, left voicemail, also left Email.. nothing..
the next day, I call back, talk to somebody, they say "oh we are looking
into it", the next day (still no news server) I call again, they have a tech
call me back.. he says "oh we are having issues with the company that
provides that service, and so we are just dropping it" says I.. "well, um..
er.. newsgroup access is 97.4%% of the reason I subscribe to an ISP" says the
tech, "well, you will probably have to go to somebody else who does provide
it" ..

So I did :) and at about 1/2 the price..
