Now that's funny. Do they play Detroit this year? Or do we get to imagine
the possibility of two winless teams in one season?

The NFL announced today that the Chicago Bears have been awarded the
Super Bowl and the rest of the 2006 season has been cancelled.
"The Bears are so dominant that it's a foregone conclusion that they
will win the Super Bowl," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "There's
no suspense left in the season."
Bears fans poured into the streets of Chicago, celebrating their
victory. It is the earliest the NFL has ever crowned a champion. "We
knew, right after we destroyed the Seahawks, that we would be Super
Bowl champions," said head coach Lovie Smith, the first
African-American coach to win a Super Bowl. "It was only a matter of
convincing the rest of the league."
Also celebrating were fans of the Oakland Raiders, who couldn't wait
for the season to end.

Weren't they talking about 19-0 for the Colts. Call me crazy, but I
believe we should play out the season and the play offs, even though
the Bears Championship is a foregone conclusion.

Yeah, and let's not forget that the 15-1 Steelers of 2004 and 15-1
Vikings of 1998 didn't make it to the Super Bowl.
