Lifetime Pats fan thoughts on celebration...

I've never seen these Pats (Bellichick era) treat another team with
disrespect; before, during, or after the game. What I did see was the Pats,
one time, mocking a big-mouthed asshole by the name of Terrel Owens. It
doesn't surprise me that they mocked another big-mouth asshole who is also a
steroid using CHEATER. While I don't agree with the Pats dancing on the
Chargers logo at the end of the game, I do LOVE the fact that they mocked
Merriman.

so how do you Pat's fans feel about Bellechick cheating on his wife?
Personally I can accept a young kid like Merriman making a mistake. But
cheating on your wife? While having your kids on the sidelines to show
what a great dad he is? LOL Is he a politican now or something? Good
thing it isn't a few hundered years ago or you Massholes could burn him
at the stake.

The Pats did something similar against the Steelers a few playoffs ago.
Jerome Bettis had a good run and did his little
"shake-my-head-and-run-in-place" dance, then a couple plays later the
Pats' defense...

I think it's a non-issue.

.... and another thing altogether to talk smack about punching the QB
in the face BEFORE the game and dance after a meaningless knock down of
said QB. I am not that proud of what the Pat's did, but that pussy
punk got what he deserved. After all this nonsense I almost respect
the Colts.

This stuff is screamingly funny coming from fans of a team that has Junior
Seau on the payroll.

Good point, he's one of my all time most hated players. I was not
happy when he signed. Luckily he is not likely to be back next season.
What is it about SD that breeds these show off assholes?

If Merriman wasn't a pro bowler and a dominant defensive player, I have a
hard time believing you guys would give a flying fuck about his stupid
dance.

The list of NFL players who don't act like idiots after they make a play is
a very short one. Do you think your team is immune from such on-field
histrionics? Please tell me you're not that delusional.

As a general rule the Pat's don't engage in those things. With Branch
in Seattle Asante S. is probably the biggest show boat on the team.
Frankly, I am glad that it was a player of Merriman's caliber that drew
the wrath of the team. There's little benefit in being preoccupied
with someone with no talent.
