There are AFC players who privately speak with disdain about their NFC
opponents.

"Sometimes when we play [an NFC team]," said one veteran from an AFC
North franchise, "you wonder if they're even prepared for the kind of
intensity we bring to a game. You get a series or two into it and it's
like you're thinking, 'Man, I guess they haven't seen anything like us
lately.' I can't explain why it's like that, but it is."

SF players might have thought the same thing about the Bolts in SB XXIX
and the regular season game they played during that season. Ditto with
a lot of late 80's-mid 90's NFC division leaders that went on to win
the SB. I'm glad to see the balance of power has shifted back to the
AFC and I'm hoping it stays with the Bolts for a while.

Did anyone catch the NFL network's best SB teams ever? I don't get
NFLN so many thanks to anyone who posts the list.
