There is NFL film footage of the ball breaking the vertical plane. It
doesn't have to go 3 inches into the end zone ... let alone a full yard.
Ben broke the vertical plane - that's it. We don't even need to be having
this absurd conversation. Anyone who's ever fastened a chinstrap knows that
"the eye in the sky don't lie."
Just because it was close. Just because the announcers - like notorious
Steeler hater John Madden and his backbone-free lapdog Al Michaels -
spoonfed the audience their spin ... the eye in the sky don't lie. We *all*
saw it with our own eyes. Touchdown Pittsburgh. One for the thumb,
Pittsburgh.
The D-Jack push-off was another easy call, but Madden painted a picture of
outrage ... and those receptive in the audience who don't understand
football lapped it up like many of the Nazis citizens' minds were molded by
Joseph Goebbels. You're like a bunch of mindless chimps led by a modern day
idiot.
Here's some advice. First learn the rules of football. Once you get that
down, divorce yourselves from what you want to happen and make the call on
neutral terms. If you have to, pretend you'll get a $10,000,000 check if
you get the answer right.
Super Bowl XL - the gift that keeps on giving .... when you factor in how
many whiny-assed man-ginas are still cwying der widdle eyes out.
