I think that's more of a negative commentary on the media than it is on the
team. In sports stories they have a lot more leway as far as 'speculating'
and it's not such a big deal if they're wrong. So they tend to put a lot
more credibility into unnamed sources than those doing hard news have to
(not that I'm all that impressed with the credibility of the hard news
people either). I don't see this as any kind of PR disaster for the
Steelers, as someone else posted previously it's keeping them in the news
and giving us fans something interesting to read about during what's really
the off-season for us already.

Like Tank said, it's only important that the Steelers make the RIGHT
decision, not how fast they report it to the world.
