THe Post Gazette is saying that the STeelers are just denying the story.
The Tribune is saying Grimm. THe Beaver COunty Times is parroting what
the PG is saying. ESPN is still saying it is gonna be Tomlin.
You know what? I am so fed up with this team at this point. THis is a
public relations disaster in the making. It makes the team and the
candidates look bad. IF Grimm is the man, well, since he was the O
Line Coach, I guess we can expect to see our franchise QB being sacked
another 45 times, and more Cowher, er Martyball....the team choking in
the big games.
Guess that is evidently what the Rooneys want also IF The Tribune is
right.

I'm not pissed off in any way. Why is it a PR disaster? Are people going

Please, get some perspective. LET THEM TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE A CORRECT
DECISION. Don't rush it Steelers! Pick the right guy & we'll be hoisting
trophy #6 lickedy split!
This is a PR disaster in the sense that evidently someone got a hold of
a story that Tomlin was possibly hired and leaked it to Sports
Illustrated which is a reputable source. Then, Tomlin denies it to...

The previous poster's contention that this is a PR disaster is just

Well, if you are of the belief that any publicity is good publicity,
maybe, but I do not think what I said was ridiculous. Sorry. SOmeone
needs to get a handle on this story. JMO.

I would agree with that ("Someone needs to get a handle on this story.")
But in a way, I think "they" have. There is no story. The only "fact(s)"
I've gleaned from all the reports, is this:

It doesn't really seem to be the Steelers' problem, though. If the media is
running around like chickens with their heads cut off, that's their problem.
