Changing overtime rules

I think the Steeler fans this week might be unusually open to changes
in the overtime rules I am proposing. One possible change might be
simply to go to the college rules. Frankly every time not involving my
alma mater a college game I am watching on TV looks like it might end
tied in regulation I hope for it to do so. I want Memphis to win out
right:)

But suppose the NFL cannot go for this I propose "slow death." The way
it works is this, if at any point in the overtime the team that kicks
off initially scores first, they win right then.(This might...

I'd like to see them do away with O/T in regular season and preseason games.
I think O/T should be as an extra quarter(s) and the team ahead at the end
is the winner. Just like extra innings in baseball.

I got an idea to fix overtime forever, on every level. No FG's allowed,
you need a safety or TD to win a tied game. Nobody could ever complain
if that were the case.

I still don't like it. Both teams would have to have at least one
possession.
