Actually, he did know their signals by their verbal audibles. There were
Bucs players who said after the game that Gannon's aubibles were exactly
what Gruden had told them they would be. You didn't hear any Raiders fans
complaining about Gruden, they were pissed at our coach Callahan for being
foolish enough not to change them. Gruden instituted those audibles himself
as coach.

I know it's worthless to try and get the point across to you about what
Bellichick has done to the game because this is all about deflection and
denial for you. If you have to admit to yourself what your team has done,
then it invalidates their accomplishments. In a game against the Colts a few
years ago our linebacker Greg Beikert figured out Manning's audibles on the
field. At halftime he went into the locker room and schooled his teammates
and we came back and won that game. It happened on the field. and was fair
game. Nobody was castigated for it, or fined. Neither were the Bucs in the
Super Bowl.

But your coach used a form of espionage that the league had already warned
the teams not to practice. He used technology, the camaras filming the
signals, then the headsets that were only meant to improve communication
between a coach and QB, to gain an unfair advantage. He crossed the line of
trust that severely tainted the game. You know that, but again, you would
prefer deflection and denial so that you can convince yourself that your
team won fair and square and you can relish those victories. That's yours to
deal with dude. The only thing your whining in this newsgroup is doing is
continuing to show your lack of character, and you're representing all the
***'s fans when you do it.
