DEARBORN, Mich. -- A Detroit Lions assistant coach arrested once while
police say he was driving nude and a week later on suspicion of
drunken driving entered a plea deal in the cases Thursday.
Joe Cullen, who coaches the team's defensive line, pleaded no contest
to disorderly conduct and guilty to impaired driving before 19th
District Court Judge William Hultgren, the judge's office said.
Cullen has been charged with indecent conduct and drunken driving.
A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt, but is treated as such
for sentencing purposes. Disorderly conduct is punishable by up to 90
days in jail, while impaired driving is punishable by up to 93 days
behind bars.
Sentencing was set for Feb. 13.
