I know, it's only 1 game into the season, and stats
at this point are merely a reflection of 1 game, -but-
certainly, the statistics from that game reflect the
fact that these 2 teams had great starts, and along
with the Giants, may be among the NFL elites when
all is said and done:
Defense Rankings

2. Philadelphia Eagles ... 166 yards allowed
4. Dallas Cowboys ......... 205 yards allowed
5. New York Giants ....... 209 yards allowed
Offense Rankings

1. Philadelphia Eagles ... 522 yards
2. Dallas Cowboys ......... 487 yards
7. New York Giants ....... 354 yards

Quarterback -- A -- Romo suffered a blow to the chin,
resulting in 13 stitches, but hung in there for the entire
game, his only letdown being a late game interception
on a pass to T.O. in the end zone after a long drive. His
over 300 yards passing and over 100 passer-rating im-
pressive.
Running Backs -- A+ -- Marion Barber, 2 TDs, contin-
ued his hard-running style, although he did suffer car-
tilage damage which is not expected to keep him out
of the Eagles game next week. Felix Jones showed he
can be the 'main' back, taking over that role after Mar-
ion's injury. Tashard Choice played well.
Offensive Line -- B -- With great running and mostly
great protection, only that hit to Romo's chin (and
some penalty probs) kept this from being an A+ grade,
but credit deserved to the entire defensive unit for
holding the Browns to 205 net yards, and 10 points.

They didn't just beat the Rams. They destroyed em. That's the way to
start a season.
The defense looks - mean! Westbrook is on fire. McNabb is sharp! And the
WR's suddenly look brilliant.
A saw an interesting stat. This is the first time - since 1960 - that
the Eagles had 3 WR's in the same game with more than 100 yards offense.
WOW.
I know it's the Rams. But I think it's time to get excited dammit.
Hey Dallas - the Eagles are coming to town. And they've brought back the
spirit of Buddy Ryan on 'D'.
We remember you, T.O...
See ya Monday.... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

He made a bad choice or two but you could tell this guy has put in
the work to be better. He might not put up better numbers than last
year but I think he'll proves he's a better qb anyway. I felt a little
sick when they showed a close up of him grimacing after being nailed
by three Browns. Obviously, if he goes down, the Cowboys are f'ed.

Check this out. A radio chart DJ Jeremy Shum has asked teen pop star
Demi Lovato to be his "Ashlee Simpson". Hmm, sure, both Demi and
Ashlee scream the wrong notes into the microphone... And talking of
screaming the wrong notes into the microphone; this new song "I
Propose on My Knees" is a bit like that.
Disney30 has responded by saying it was a "quick mix", and it is
likely to be remade, but it seems to me that this guy needs some
singing lessons... Hmm, hmm. In fact, can I restate that as in EVERY
Disney pop star seems to need to get professional singing lessons...?
Just when you thought Jeremy Shum was the strangest pop star ever, he
just became a little more stranger!

I think this will be a good early test.
I have some concern about our
CBs. Adam Jones still has rust. I
was rather hoping Newman would be back.
Does anybody know his condition?
